Noor is a professional data scientist who is deeply engaged in community work, particularly with the youth of Gilgit Baltistan. In a region facing challenges such as limited access to quality education, health services, and economic opportunities, Noor strives to make a tangible difference. Noor Baig's life can be described by these three words: Philanthropist-Activist-Entrepreneur Mindset. He is a human-centered design person and an entrepreneurial mindset who works to bring positive change to society. Noor is also a mentor, facilitator, and trainer dedicated to empowering others. Noor Baig believes, "One person can make a difference, and everyone should try."
As part of OMLAS Project he is launching a project aimed at promoting holistic development in Gilgit Baltistan. This initiative focuses on educational, recreational, and environmental activities to foster community engagement and forge strategic partnerships. The goal of the project is to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 3: Good health and Well-being, SDG 10: Reduced Inequality, SDG 13: Environment, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, SDG 11: Community well-being and, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. By addressing these areas, Noor aims to create a sustainable and empowered community.
